Since 2020 he has been fully dedicated to composition, and it is in this year that he enrolled in the Superior Conservatory of Alicante, where he graduated in 2023 with top honors. As a result of intense compositional activity, he has received the following composition awards:

Special Mention in the International Composition Competition for Wind Band in Nueva Ligure, Italy
3rd prize in the International Composition Competition for String Quartets organized by the Mara Technological University in Malaysia for his work "Pandemic Tales".
2022
2nd prize in the Symphonic Orchestra category at the International Composition Competition in Vienna, Austria, organized by the Franz Schubert Conservatory
4th prize at the Maestros Vision Awards International Composition Competition in Beijing, China
3rd prize at the International Composition Competition Vienna Classical Music Academy in Vienna, Austria, in the chamber music category
1st prize at the 7th SEM Symphonic Composition Competition in Sacile, Venezia, as a result of which his work "Cosas que sucedieron el 24 de Febrero" was premiered and published in Switzerland.
2023
1st prize unanimously awarded at the XXXII edition of the International Competition for Original Band Composition in Corciano, organized by the Italian Association of Band Directors. The winning piece will premiere at the Corciano in Banda Festival in August 2023.
Platinum Medal (highest score) at the European Music Classic Awards in the Composition category for their orchestral work titled Sons, Klangë, Sounds.
4th prize in the XIII edition of the International Competition for Music for the Image organized by the Orchestra d’Alessandria as part of the 23rd International Festival "A. F. Lavagnino" of Music and Cinema for the short film music titled Picasso's Nightmare.

He has received advice from composers of the stature of Mauricio Sotelo, Benet Casablancas, Andrés Valero-Castells, Voro García, Joan Magrané, Paolo Furlani and Pawel Lukaszewski among others.
As a result of this intense work, the Orquesta del Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, the Coro de la Generalitat Valenciana, the Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Alicante, Lucentum XVI, the Iberoamerican Quartet from Kuala Lumpur, the Prisma Quartet from Valencia, Aklarinet Leuka from Alicante, L'Ensemble de Valencia, and the Duo van Duá, Ensemble Serenissima (Italy), the Corciano Festival Wind Orchestra and the italian pianist Fabio Afrune are some of the professional ensembles and musicians that have premiered Salinas' works since then. In addition, his work has been published by Unión Musical Española, Pizzicato Verlag Helvetia and GTE Música.
He was born in Requena (Valencia), where he completed his elementary music studies with Daniel Martínez Marín. He completed his middle and higher studies at the Conservatories of Buñol, where he studied with Ricardo Dorado for a year, and Valencia, where he took the instrument exam as an independent student, preparing with José Tello Espert. He graduated in clarinet with honors at the age of 17.
He later graduated from the Rotterdam's Conservatorium in clarinet performance, studying with professors such as Ab Vos, the soloist of the Residentie Orchestra in The Hague, and international concert artist Walter Boeykens. He also obtained a degree in Orchestra Conducting with professors Dan Admiraal and Arie van Beek, earning the grade of 10 (Cum Laude) and Outstanding, respectively. He holds a Teaching Aptitude Certificate from the University of Valencia and the Master's degree in Musical Research from the International University of Valencia.
He began his professional conducting career at the age of 15 when he was appointed conductor of the "Santa Cecilia" Band in Chera, where he stayed for three years. He then went on to conduct as the principal conductor of the bands in Calanda (Teruel), Ateneo de La Vila Joiosa, Muro d'Alcoi, Teulada Requena, Polop, and UMB de Benidorm, as well as the orchestras of the Benidorm Conservatory, the Teatro Auditorio de La Vila Joiosa, and the UMB Symphony Orchestra. He is currently a professor of armony and analisis at the Municipal Professional Conservatory of Benidorm.
He has conducted as a guest conductor for the Joven Orquesta de la Comunidad Valenciana and the Netherland Studenten Kamer Orkest (of which he has been an assistant conductor), the Municipal Band of Palma de Mallorca, the Symphony Orchestra of the Rotterdam Conservatory, Big Band Jazz Ensemble de Requena, and the "Marina Baixa" Regional Band.
He has conducted renowned soloists such as trumpet player Maurice André, saxophonist Pedro Iturralde, trombonist José Ángel Isla from the Paris Orchestra, guitarist Denis Azabagic (professor at the University of Illinois and Chicago, USA), flutist Benoit Fromager (Berlin Opera), Iván Marín (assistant principal clarinet of the Galicia Symphony Orchestra), saxophonist Nacho Gascón (professor at the ESMUC in Barcelona), among others.
He has made numerous recordings, having released several CDs and recorded for RNE, Canal Nuevo Radio, Televisión Valenciana, and Dutch Radio. He has participated in various competitions, receiving the following awards:

Second Prize Erasmus University (Rotterdam).
Finalist twice in the Conductor Selection Competition of the Sibelius Academy (Helsinki, Finland).
Finalist in the City of Cartagena Music Competition in the Conducting category.
Honorable Mention in the "Centre 14" Chamber Music Competition in Alicante on two occasions.
Honorable Mention in the International Clarinet Competition of Benidorm.
Finalist in the "Rocamora" International Chamber Music Competition in Pozoblanco.
